About Swimspire

Why Swimspire?

Swimspire is a swim coaching and swimming news source that provides the tools, techniques, and inspiration to help you pursue the sport you love. Wherever you are in the world, and regardless of your age, level, or reason for swimming, Swimspire will help you to achieve your goals.

Promoting the sport of swimming:

We believe that every athlete, coach, team or event has a story and we are proud to help share these unique stories with the global swimming community. By serving as a platform for promoting inspiration – whether at the swimming pool, in the open water or during a triathlon – we not only help bring more visibility to the topics we cover, but also help motivate our readers to make a difference in their own daily pursuit of the sport.

Our coaching services:

Being a successful swimmer is not attained through hard work alone. A combination of intense training and an efficient swimming stroke is necessary to achieve maximum results. But getting to the efficient phase is a process unique to each swimmer. This is why Swimspire takes a customized approach to swimming. Every individual has different swimming needs – whether as a triathlete, Masters/age group swimmer or fitness and health swimmer.

While there are countless resources on swimming available online, it can be overwhelming to determine which tip, which drill, or which workout is right for you without clear direction, particularly when these resources provide conflicting advice.

Swimspire provides you with that direction. We offer:

  • Instructional videos
A series of videos featuring  drills that are used to perfect all aspects of your swimming style in all four swimming strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.
  • Individualized online stroke analysis
Show us a video clip of your swimming during your training or races by uploading it to YouTube or Vimeo (you can share it just with us by following our video privacy guidelines). We’ll analyze your technique and send you a full critique including the drills that you need to improve efficiency.
  • Customized workouts
Based on either your online stroke analysis or a fitness/racing profile that you will complete, we send you weekly customized workouts.
